PTSD

Part 2


When you have PTSD, the world feels unsafe. You may have upsetting memories, feel on edge, or have trouble sleeping. Anyone can develop PTSD at any age. Although PTSD has medication to help cope with symptoms, people often ignore the long term effects of the mental illness and medication. This medication has the following harmful and negative side effects; Sleep problems, headache and dizziness, shaking and feeling anxious, loss of appetite and vomiting, irritated kreally easily, worsening depression and harmful thoughts about suicide and or hurting yourself.

For women the risk of having a premature baby with complications and birth defects are extremely high. As a person who has PTSD, you tend to always feel unsafe and on edge. PTSD is a mental illness that some people develop after experiencing or witnessing a life threatening event like combat, natural disasters, car accidents, sexual assault, or abuse. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a serious issue for not only veterans, kids, adults and non veterans. Some people spend hundreds of dollars on treatments trying to find ways to cope with this mental illness.
